So far, so good (mostly)

I haven't been terribly busy for load-in, which has been fantastic. Basically, I've been the "extra" hands and the go-fer. There are some moulding pieces that will need painting, but hopefully that will be it. The only thing I have to take care of at home is laundry and a bit of cooking, which isn't too bad. *knocks on wood just in case*

We did get some sad news today; one of my mom's cats, Rupert, died suddenly. I'm not sure the vet was able to discover what was wrong with him; Mom found him ill, and within 24 hours the poor little guy was gone. I'm hoping his brother, Gizmo, does all right... the two of them were nearly inseparable.

More snow is expected hereabouts; I can hardly wait. :-/ Thanks to the city's anti-salt policy, there are 6-inch-deep ice ruts in the roads and piles that will take until at least mid-April to melt completely. Some above-freezing weather would be nice.

work, mundane meanderings
