adorable in-laws
Here's an adorable future in-laws story that I wanted to share with the com. It made FH and I smile last night amidst all the stress of planning.
We're a little over 3 weeks out from the big day (gasp!) and my future mother in law comes over unannounced. She looks at me very seriously and says "You need to take this. This is really important." and pulls a bottle of self-tanner out of her bag. I stare at it blankly for a second and she says gravely "You work outside too much, you have a farmer's tan."
It was all FH and I could do to not crack up. After dealing with so much in the way of coordinating the big event, it's good to know our family is dealing with the tiny details for us! My fmil knows how tomboyish and unconcerned about beauty/makeup I can be, so it was just a cute moment. :)
