Are Bridal Shows Helpful?
Do you all really think that bridal shows are helpful? I went to my first one yesterday. It was a national expo, but I was really surprised at how small it was, especially because I swore I'd heard something about 60+ vendors and there was maybe half that. The fashion show was more fun than I thought it would be, and my poor fiancé left midway to get some air and he said there was an army of other men outside who just couldn't take it anymore. I did get some really nice coupons, but they're set to expire about 6 months to a year before we'll need them.
There is a local show in my area in a few months, and I'm wondering if that will be more helpful in terms of connecting with potential vendors or if I should just keep my search online. I don't think I'll make Ed go with me to that one, but I don't even know if I should go at this point. Since we're looking at late April of 2014, would it be better to wait until we're closer to that date to go again, or just go and grab the free stuff because we don't know when we'll need it?
