Unplugged Wedding

I got some information and tips from my photographer today in a lovely packet.  One of the things she talked about was unplugging the wedding...so basically having everyone put their phones and cameras away and having HER be the ONLY one taking pictures.  I'm really torn on this...obviously I don't want phones out, but there are several family member and friends I have who are fairly good photographers (obviously not professional or I wouldn't have hired someone lol).

I'd love to see different angles and interpretations of each moment....I'm into photography myself and realize the importantance of individual artistic interpretation.  But I also don't want everyone there to be hiding behind their cameras, you know?  She brings up a good point...that making everyone "unplug" is forcing them to be a part of the experience.  I get that...but I also get that for some people taking pictures IS an experience they really enjoy (I know I would).

I'm not entirely sure what to do...what are your opinions on this?  Are you unlugging your wedding?
