I had my hair trial today! I wish I could say that everything went to plan, but it didn't. First off, we had a really rough time getting to the salon because the area it's in has a lot of events going on this weekend and traffic was godawful. (Luckily, the salon will be sending stylists right to the hotel on the wedding day itself!) Second, I was supposed to have a makeup trial as well, and the makeup artist was a no-show! Fortunately, both the hairstylist I worked with and the salon owner were amazing, and I'll be going back at a later date to do makeup with a different artist.
But all problems aside, I did get my hair done and I LOVE how it turned out. I came in with a couple pictures and a really nebulous idea of what I wanted. My stylist took the few ideas I had and a picture of my dress, and somehow, magically, turned it into exactly what I wanted it to be.
First, the back...
...And the front, after the headpiece went on.

Then the veil went on and I started getting giddy, LOL.
My veil is two-tiered so we tried the top layer as a blusher. I wasn't going to do a blusher, but I REALLY felt like a bride here, so I may change my mind...

I had my jewelry with me as well, so I put that on too. So this is my total bridal look from the neck up!
The only changes I think we're going to make for the wedding itself are repositioning the headpiece a little and doing more to tame the frizzy-wispiness that was going on. Any other feedback or suggestions, ladies?
