mother of the bride dresses?
was wondering...what type of dresses your moms have picked out?
we're having an incredibly casual not formal wedding- I'm trying to figure out where to go with my mom to get a dress
my dress is a black satin and black lace dress from dolly couture- my bridesmaid dress is a mustard yellow dress from bhldn.
my mom is 50, short like me (though she's got an inch on me at 5'2) she loves high heels/wedges. she's about a size 8 and I would say pretty hip/current? her favorite designers are Betsy Johnson, Free People. She isnt stuffy/high neckline at all.
the colors in our wedding are ivory/black/mustard yellow.
she isnt into maxi dresses, or long dresses. my first wedding she wore a BCBG red dress, so I could add BCBG to the list of stores.
we would be shopping in LA- as that is where my momma is.
