Venue Help
So, I know a very good caterer, who I'd like to hire for my wedding. They'd give me amazing food at a super good price. Sounds great, but I'm having a very difficult time finding a venue that 1) can accommodate 175 guests in the winter and 2) doesn't carry a $10,000 site fee. I'm trying to keep the venue fee to under $3,000.
I feel like google is failing me now. I've tried The Knot, Wedding Wire, liweddings.com, bizbash.com. I feel like I've tried every wedding venue and event space search for the state of New York.
We'd like to get married either on Long Island or in the Hudson Valley. If anyone has any venue recommendations, I'd be super thrilled, but also if you have any ideas of google searches or databases I could try, I'd also be super grateful.
