I know some good hair/makeup people in Mission Viejo if you need recommendations. :)

That would be awesome. Do you know anyone who would be able to do retro hairstyles?

Try this lady:

She got really good reviews on weddingwire.com. I'm actually possibly booking her myself, just waiting on one more lady to get back to me on prices so I can make a decision.

She offers REALLY reasonable packages for hair and makeup with her partner - sadly, her partner isn't available on my day! Christina has been lovely to talk with, though.

Cool thanks. I have a few months to figure it out so I'll keep her in mind.

Oh hey it's going to be right near me. Do you know where you're having it yet?

We're renting out on of the rooms at the Murray P. Norman Community Center. The best rate in town and it has a kitchen.

Oh! I just visited there like 2 hours ago to do a walk through. I loved the outside areas.

Yeah we did do. We're doing a lot of our own food and decoration so a kitchen is a plus. We were going to have a reception around our 1 year anniversary but since my husband got a job in Nevada we're pushing it until later SPring or early Summer next year.

Yeah that makes sense. My father-in-law works there so that's why I know more. If you have dancing you have to get insurance for the day which will run you around $300 it also covers alcohol. If you serve alcohol you need a security guard too.
There's several nice areas around. We were going to a renewal of sorts on this awesome rounded hill near the kids play area but now we don't have too. Or on one of the neat little bridges too.

Congrats on your recent marriage and upcoming reception! We're kind of doing this too; eloped when we were barely 18 and planning a reception in February (10 years later!)

Thanks! We don't want to put it off for too long otherwise we'll never do it.
