Our wedding is scheduled at an outdoor pagoda at a park on October 28th. From 4pm to probably 8:30 or 9ish.
I have 3 questions. First of all, is it crazy that I'm having an outdoor wedding on an October evening? It seemed like such a romantic idea at the time, but now I'm really starting to stress out and worry. I want my guests to be comfortable and not leave early because they're freezing. Its been a consistently super warm summer, but in Indiana that probably isn't much good for indicating fall weather. Its the only state in the US where you can get sunburn and frostbite in the same day.
Second, Is 4-4 1/2 hours long enough to do everything we need to do wedding wise? There will be no dancing, and no bar (as neither hubby or I drink).
And third, due to the lack of dancing or boozing, what can we do to keep guests entertained at the reception?? Both the ceremony and the reception are in the same spot....So if my guests freeze, they'll at least freeze to their chairs at the table.
Thanks in advance for any insight you may offer!
