Hello lovely ladies of WP!
I have a question regarding bridesmaid "etiquette". I am MOH in my best friend's wedding this June. Her shower is scheduled for May 1 and thus far I've handled everything on my own with minimal help from the 4 other BM's. My boyfriend is a graphic designer and helped me out by designing the shower invites and now one of the BM's (the bride's cousin) is trying to take the reins on everything shower related. So before I punch her in the face for her latest edict...
My question is: Is it the bridesmaid's responsibility to provide "thank you" cards for the bride to send out after the shower? I have never heard of this and she's insisting that it's mandatory and widely known. She wants me to ask my boyfriend to design a matching thank you card now. The bride is an Etsy-a-holic and has already selected her thank cards for both occasions, but the BM says we need to give her cards even if she isn't going to use them. Isn't that silly and wasteful?
Any advice/insight would be so very much appreciated ♥
