Holiday cards and Save-the-dates

We're thinking of sending our STDs with our christmas cards this year (to save postage and precious time). Has anyone ever seen/done this before?? I can't think of any good ideas... maybe a STD insert in the card? a postcard style card with 'happy holidays' and wedding info? a cute gift-type STD? I'm pulling a major blank and need ideas!!! ..we're also having a spring-theme wedding and really don't want to make it seem like it's gonna be a holiday wedding (although this should be obvious by the june date....).
