We had our initial meeting with our reception location. I love their food. They are actually a small microbrewery. My father and paternal grandfather have been going there since the day they opened. They have a mug club thing, and my dad is #3, behind the two owners. My sister works there.... So, the family likes all of it.
I personally love their pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, and many of my family does too. When we went in they said they would be able to do pork bbq sliders (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *praise sounds*).
We have these options for appetizers now.
30 pretzel logs cut in thirds w/brewhaus mustard (90 pieces)
1 lg cheesy spinach dip w/bread chips (40-60)
1 lg fruit tay (40-60)
1 sm veggie tray w/ranch (40-60)
130 mini pulled pork BBQ sandwiches
As a basic time schedule. Ceremony from 4-4:30, apps from 4:30-5:30, introductions and first dance and toasts till 6. Dinner from 6-7:30p.
We need to cut it down to 3 appetizers. We are going to have about 100 people, and I just don't think we need that much food (or costs). I can't make the cuts, because I am so drawn to the choices I made for different reasons. So with just possibly 45 minutes between the time people eat apps, and the dinner, what would you have. In addition, we are most likely having a sundried tomato basil penne pasta and chicken option for dinner.
Please tell me, what would you like to see at a wedding you were attending.
Thanks so much for suggestions.
