Second Reception Update.
Our second reception is approaching quickly and I'm getting a ton done. I did a lot over the holiday weekend. I feel like this is such a whirlwind compared to the two and a half years I had to plan the wedding.
Here is the inspiration board again...
Here is the pavilion where we are having the potluck. We went this weekend and took some photos. It will be October so hopefully we'll have pretty fall colors...
The inside. It's very rustic, but I think with some cloth table clothes, flowers and maybe some candles it will dress up nicely.
And you can't beat the view...
My friend finished the invitations. I LOVE them. We wanted the colors to be fallish, but not overly fallish. Let me know if you see any misspellings please!
EDIT: Ick! Photobucket resized them and they look really bad! I assure you they look better when they are not resized.

And I bought kraft paper envelopes (I WISH I had time to make pretty liners, but I don't see it happening):
I've bought a bunch of pretty plaid wool throws for guests to wrap around their shoulders if it gets cold. Here are some of the colors we got:
I need to get a shot of them all together. It's hard to see through these but they really do coordinate well together. It really suits are mis-matched color scheme.
We'll also be bringing the same guestbook we used at the wedding to let people sign that at this reception.
And some sad news. My friend who was going to photograph the day as a gift cannot make it because she has to shoot a wedding that night on the other side of the state. I'm super sad she can't be there. I'll be trying to photograph it myself as well now. :/
And a side note... this is my favorite non-pro photo we have gotten back so far. I just love it.
On a side note, or photographer is working on our pro-pics this week! We should have them soon!
