Bridal Shower...
So one of my best friends is getting married in October of this year. Her MOH hasn't contacted the rest of the bridal party at all about preliminary planning for her bridal shower, so my other friend [who is also a BM], contacted all of us about pre-planning. That is not the issue though.
The FMIL is typically the one to plan the shower with the MOH, right? Well, the groom is basically refusing to give us any contact information for his mom. He said that we weren't allowed to invite her to the bridal shower. Now, can someone ANYONE please tell me what we should do?
I want to invite FMIL to the shower, I feel like it's necessary to send her an invite, even if she doesn't show up. The groom's family is not contributing in anyway to the wedding or the shower, but I think that if we do not invite FMIL & FSIL to the bridal shower that there will be even more animosity during this wedding.
Any advice/comment is appreciated.
