Ceremony time and Reception
We have gotten the OK to have the church for the day that we wanted (Oct 27, 2009) but now we have to tell them what time. Since the wedding is on a Tuesday (a weird day I know, its family tradition to be married on Oct 27 and Im not breaking 115 years of tradition!) I am planning on having a evening wedding sometime around 7 or 8. The problem is the reception. My family is big on parties (we party hard! haha) and I wanted to have a normal reception. But since it's a weekday, Im sure not everyone will want to stay. SO I guess my question is, what do I do? Should I just have a short reception bc people won't want to be there? Has anyone had a wedding on a weekday? What have you done? ugh...
