This weekend the FH was here to visit me and we prepared Save the Dates!
The magnets were on my fridge for about 2 weeks :)
FH putting removable glue dots on the magnets.
Our hamster, Sundae, sitting in his lap, hehe.
Me sticking the magnets onto the postcards (with Sundae helping, of course, hehe).
Making progress!
Almost done!
We have a couple left (because my Mom is still deciding who to invite from her list of friends, even though I asked her TWO WEEKS ago for the list, so we could send them all out Monday... *grumble*) but that won't take long. :)
I can't wait to send them out! :DDD
Also, I have a question about invitations. On the inner envelope, what do you put? I know it's usually the names of everyone invited or "so and so and guest" for those allowed a guest... But what about Grandparents? Like, do I call them Ed and Stella or Nana and Poppop? Does it depend on how the invitation is worded? Because I know some are like "we invite you to join in OUR wedding" or "so and so invite you to the wedding of THEIR daughter etc" My Mom asked me about this the other day and I have no idea...
One more question: car rentals. We'd like to have a nice car or limo to take us from the ceremony to the reception, but we'll only need it for like an hour literally. I looked up some limo services (I'm in Pittsburgh, PA for reference) and a "wedding package" is like 1k for all day. Waaay too expensive! So we threw out the idea of renting a nice car that we can decorate and drive! My FH is a big car person, so he'd like a Corvette (it HAS to be manual, or else his car integrity will be injured, haha). I've only found one place in Pittsburgh that will let us rent a Corvette (and they didn't have rates on the website, so I have to call them). We'd probably rent something cool for the wedding party too (since whatever cool car we end up with will probably be a 2-seater). Any ideas? Has anyone else done this? Based on other websites (Avis, Hertz, etc) it should be about $150 per day (which is still SO much cheaper than a limo) and we could get it for a day or so before the wedding (giving us time to decorate it and not have to worry about picking it up on the day of the wedding).
We went through just about every car rental place and can find very little! We're really close to the Pittsburgh International Airport, so most places will cater to that location. :)
