Two questions:
1) Has anyone seen/had a bouquet toss in which all guests were invited to participate? How did it go over?
Back story: For mine, I was originally planning to invite all females, married and single, to participate so as not to call out my small number of friends/relatives who are single. I was going to put a note in the program that all women could participate, with an explanation that the tradition originally started as a way for guests simply to share in the bride's good fortune. I realized that it would seem silly to state that we are honoring this tradition if we're technically excluding half the guests. However, I get the feeling the men would be reluctant to join in. We're not doing the garter toss, FYI.
2) For those of you who have used/are using paper or silk fans to distribute at your outdoor ceremony, how many did you/will you order (percentage-wise)? I don't want to end up with dozens left over, but I'd like to make sure everyone who wants one gets one.
