Replacing itunes
Just a follow-up note reporting on replacing iTunes with Songbird. I'm successfully running Songbird 0.5 and able to sync with my iPod classic (60g). It's unfortunate that I had to install iTunes first to do some stuff on the iPod (restore the device to default factory settings via iTunes), but once it was done, I haven't opened iTunes since. Last thing I need to check is whether my iPod rated songs synch back to Songbird.
