A: 946 Beulah Street, outside, morning

[That awkward moment when you catch someone hugging their laptop lovingly in the middle of their sidewalk. Yeah, you just experienced it. Estonia is rather pleased with his parcel following the catastrophe that was milk torture week.]

B: 946 Beulah Street, outside, the entire rest of the day I wish I was ( Read more... )

[it's okay, Crowe kinda felt the same way when he got his iPhone back.

But that doesn't mean he's not going to stare as he approaches with his newspaper deliveries.]

Ah... that just arrived, I take it?

[Blushing a little bit, Estonia lowers the laptop, but only a tiny bit.]

Uh... yeah, it did.

Don't worry, I think we all pretty much do the same thing when we get something back from home we miss.

I was kind of hoping I wasn't alone, yeah.

[He'll reach into his pocket and fish out said iPhone now.] I felt sort of the same way getting this back. Of course I can't use it as a phone here, but it's got photos and music from home on it. That makes it priceless.

I understand completely. And I do hope I have all my files on this one. Files and photos would be reassuring to have, I should think.

It makes a lot of difference, trust me. I even have a voice mail from my friend on here I forgot to erase. It's nice to have, since I haven't seen him in so long now...

[Estonia nods.] I understand completely. This place can be exhausting when you're used to a certain set of interactions.

I don't think any of us do, but that doesn't mean some stability wouldn't be nice, right?

True... Well, the people who've been in my house have been there for awhile at least. And there's only one drone, so that's good.

That's helpful. The, erm, adults in my house keep getting droned and coming back, so I never quite know what to expect.

Yeah. I've had a fairly stable house for a few months now, which is nice. There was a time when people came by so fast, I couldn't keep track of what my last name was supposed to be.

[Estonia laughs companionably.] The name changes are the worst, I have to say. I'm not looking forward to going back to school and missing out on half the things directed at me.

I've gone through 4 or 5 in my time here. Right now it's currently "Horse". [He makes a vaguely annoyed face at this.]

Wow, I'm sorry.
