Hetalia 30 Day Challenge - Days 11-14

Jul 10, 2011 15:31

Ahh, it's my first day of complete rest since I began my job on Monday. I'm "teaching" at a summer school for kindergarteners, meaning I just try to get three to five year olds to sing about rainforest animals in between taking them to the bathroom. And occasionally admonishing some to stop running around in circles. Or helping them change into their spare set of clothes after they've peed their pants...

It's to the point when I start fancying what my AU characters would seem like at that age. I have a very specific Gilly prototype in my head ("Ryan Wong, you little instigator! You're going to drive me insane!")

Since the exhaustion has caused me to neglect the 30 Day Challenge, let's have FOUR days in this post!

DAY 11 - A CHARACTER WHO WOULD BE YOUR BEST FRIEND

America! He's so fun, carefree, and energetic. We'd have loads of fun. I can see us going to theme parks, watching silly movies, bouncing around nerding over...nerdy things. Although I suppose we'd have a few arguments about what to eat sometimes...I actually already do with a friend. He'll be like, "Let's go to McDonald's" and I'll groan at how boring he is

DAY 12 - A CHARACTER WITH YOUR FAVOURITE SEIYUU

Switzerland! More just because I don't really have a favourite seiyuu, but the other anime I do watch is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. FMA is pretty much the pinnacle of manga and anime to me; it's an intricate, clever story used with great characters and nice art. I personally will say it's like Harry Potter levels of storytelling. Anyway, Romi Park is also Edward Elric's seiyuu...so I kind of favoured Switzerland for that reason. When he's yelling at someone, it's so Ed. Haha!

(This phenomenon happened to me again when I watched Mae Whitman in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World - hearing Katara act sassy was hilarious.)

DAY 13 - A CHARACTER YOU WOULDN'T MIND CAMPING WITH

China! I don't mind having Team Moms hanging around to get stuff done (as long as they don't nag AS much) and anyway, I think he'd come super prepared.

DAY 14 - A CHARACTER YOU WOULDN'T MIND BEING ROOMMATES WITH

Japan! He's quiet, clean, polite and I don't think he would be too clingy or nosy, something I really need my roommates to be. This is because I don't spend a lot of time at home, going out to class and rehearsal as the main reasons. And you know, some days you just feel like keeping to yourself, so I would really appreciate a roommate who lets me do my own thing when I feel like it. I'd do the same for them. Also, since he's Japanese and I love Japanese food, I wouldn't mind at all if we shared meals every once in a while...heehee.
