[Um... What? A lot to process. So, this Postman guy is less like a trading post and more like... Mephisto, or something. He took her friend's memory of his parents...? Jeez. He doesn't remember his own too well, since they died when he was young, too (...huh), but for most that would be a heavy price...]

I think we can agree that it's definitely a way to put it.

Say... maybe you can help me. I'm trying to get some background info on this place. You know, town ledgers, old blue prints, history books, whatever. I mean, I'm sure people already have all this checked out, but I'd at least feel better taking a look at it.

Wow. This is... I wish I could say I feel better knowing more about this place, but... I almost wish I hadn't even asked. I have a serious case of the creeps right now.
