I picked this lovely old pottery vase up in the charity shop some years ago and it's always reminded me of a mushroom. I don't know how much I paid but it definitely wouldn't be over £5! But I'd got a bit bored with it and so decided to give it a revamp.. These are the before pics...

Today spent doing more crafty bits. Big item of today, creating a large toadstool vase. Its paint has to cure overnight then I'll apply a sealant tomorrow with a pic. I've also started cleanup work on the hallway lampshade, it's Edwardian strong condition but a poor decorative condition. It is brass and I'm unsure whether to do it black or copper. The green vase I picked up from Oxfam several years ago for £3.99 and my mate saw it in my window at my old house and offered me a tenner straight off!
