Hehe St Catwg's Church medieval christening font was used as plant pot in a garden! It has now been used for its first baptism in 150 years. Very interesting short video from the BBC Radio 4 Today programme filmed on Halloween (when else?! 👻) about how the "medical stories" came about for vampires. I remember this story well, I lived in Derbyshire many years and we visited the village of Eyam. Naturally every one in Derbyshire knew of these brave and presumably extremely terrified villagers who tried to stop the plague from spreading at terrible cost to themselves, their families and loved ones 😢
