Gods it's quiet with so many gone to the UKP Scarborough moot for the weekend! Had a reasonable day although a peculiar comment by the consultant in his letter to my GP which I was given today has left me a little down. The rest of the letter is fine, deals with good info and some new diagnosis as well which I wasn't aware of, and yet this mistake

I've done it,that bloody DSS form is completed and photocopied. They know everything, I understand that they need information to make a decision, but are we not allowed any privacy or dignity at all? I think a version of the forms should be printed out specially on sandpaper and inserted without any lubricant whatsoever up the arse of the sadist

Feeling tired and rundown, the toothache hasn't given up, but *touch wood* the TMJ has been fairly quiet. The weather is so odd, torrential rain that doesn't clear the air, how weird is that? The cats are listless, me too

Why is it when you're already wound up about something that something else has to come along and add to it? Later today I'm at the dentist, after the fiasco of the last visit I am seeing a new one and taking a few consultants letters with me for stuff they really don't need to know but should do if it makes them understand things better. Back in August I applied yet again for DLA (Disability Living Allowance) and after eight weeks they couldn't make a decision and arranged for a doctor to come out and see me. He finally arrived yesterday and instead of the 20 - 60 minutes they warn you the interview will take it took one and a half hours. I
