My absolutely brilliant friend Tilly risked his job for me this week. This goes way beyond simple friendship. I cannot thank him enough for what he did and I am stunned at what he was prepared to do. When his mum died 15 (?) years ago I promised her that I would do everything I could to look out for him. I would have done it anyway without being asked. But this, this really is something else. We first met Easter 1999 so that's 18 years ago and he's seen me go from poorly to extremely violently ill to very ill. He's never known me well. He's just an absolutely amazing friend 💜
