Brand New Cooker of 2 weeks old Blew Up. On my Birthday!
(cross posted from fb) A bit calmer now. Or I've just accepted my fate.... Yes remember the cooker I'd waited 5 weeks for delivery then Currys KNOWHOW got here & had no idea how to wire it in so the day became chaos & great stress whilst we found an electrician to wire it in. Seems recent? Yes That was just Two weeks ago to the day. My father's birthday, whilst for my birthday it chose to blow up. My Fucking luck!! We got in, switched on the cookers power - fine. My mother switched on the oven. BANG. White & blue flash out the far side & the trip switch went. My father switched it on again at the trip, wall then turned on the oven. BANG, same electric flash, same trip blown. He went for the third go (!) BANG - white & blue electric flash shot out the other end of the cooker towards me! Just Two weeks old. Baby Belling newly built in Britain, fit for the scrap yard. This actually means that I Have THREE cookers on my premises & NONE of them work. In the meantime my father is going to pick up one of those plug in portable mini hobs so we can cook something other than microwave meals which are special order for me anyway with a price tag to match. I am So pissed off, my luck is beyond a joke. If they did a sitcom of my life no-one would believe it.... :-(
Currently working on the cooker solution, more later. No solution possible for my luck though... Ha! Remember that new key that broke in the lock? That was only 2 Hours old!! See, some bastard up there has got it in for me!!
