challenge--summer fun 2006
so the last mod entreaty to come up with submissions for this was totally effective, and i've been working on this newsboy cap for the last day or so to finish in time :] i crocheted it from an odd ball of kitchen cotton i had lying around (which is sort of perfect, considering it's a summer garment) and in a deep green/silver/white color scheme, it's ideal for the chic Slytherin about town, lol.
i didn't work from a pattern, which is why i'm not modelling it (my head was too big :P), but i just did basic, even increases until it was a huge circle, then brought it in tight with a lot of decreases. i definitely decresed too much, hence the small size, but i'm gonna keep working at the pattern until it's right.
my sister, Gabbie modelling it...
i told her to look devious, as it is in Slytherin colors, and she did this, lol.
here it is again, stuffed on my table...the colors are pretty accurate
