Hey, everyone: When looking for jobs on Craigslist, or I guess ANYWHERE online, beware "employers" who require a credit score check from their applicants! I received a reply about an administrative job saying just that, and became confused when the website didn't work, thinking maybe it was because my credit card was expired.
sergei_mcsick was quick-minded enough to say "Gee, I hope that's not some scam to get your credit card number," so I did a little poking around and found that the credit report check website they linked me to used an URL-masking website, offto.net - it seemed they had simply copied that website, tweaked the form so that the credit card number went to them, and put it on their own server. There was also no evidence of "Radiant Marketing Solutions," the company she claimed to be from, existing. And then I finally found a forum post about an identical scam on the Orlando craigslist.
So, yeah, watch out for that kind of thing! I'd be in a lot more of a bind if I had a working credit card, and if
sergei_mcsick hadn't smelled a rat so quickly!

(The unprofessional run-on sentences are a good clue, too.)
