Some test renders I did of one of the characters in my animation. No, it is not human, hence the oddly-shaped face. It will all make sense in due time--probably when I texture him and finish the animation.

Which, the good news, is I'm almost done. Just gotta finish up the hands, eyes (free eye tutorial from Gnomon Workshop adapted for 3dmax ftw!) and unwrap the bitch so the texture looks right. Basically did the render to test out how the neck looked. After all, I didn't want it to look like the shaft of a veiny penis. Not that I've ever had something come out looking like that, but when I'm only modeling half a biped, sometimes things come out looking... strange... when it's mirrored and put together as a whole.

Let's just say I was rather pleased with the way it turned out, and it was much easier than I expected to create the veins on the shoulder and "OMG SO PISSED OFF" lines on his neck.
