Legion of the Damned
I've found that one of the best sources of info for new bands to check out is people's comments on discussion boards/comment sections about metal. Some stuff I check out and it's crap, but this morning I found a reference to the band Legion of the Damned and took a listen.
The Review: I feel like I've been kicked in the face. DAMN I love some thrash in the morning! If these guys wore sandals and wandered around the desert making speeches, I'd start a cult. The best part is, when I went to hit the "add artist to your musical library" button (the site I frequent has one), it said "BOOM, already there motherfucker! Hit the volume knob, nerdlinger." That's how awesome they are.
Once again, I feel like I need to hire people to find this shit and tell me about it.
