TIMELINES or lack thereof
I can't think of anywhere relevant to put this so it gets its own post. I am going to be taking Logan from the end of the second movie, X-Men 2: X-Men United. Because, hilariously funny though I find the events of The Last Stand, it is kind of a mess characterisation-wise. I am assuming the events of Origins: Wolverine happened! But Logan of course doesn't remember any of it so it... hardly matters, unless I deage him.
FOR MY OWN SANITY I am not assuming First Class fits into the exact same continuity. There are too many discrepancies between that and the other X-films for it to make any sense. So they are probably just ever so slightly different universes. This wouldn't even be a problem if Wolverine hadn't cameo'd in that movie. Stop ruining everything, Wolverine!
