I'm no longer going to Burning Man. I had originally been planning not to go due to the expense and needing to wrap stuff up at work. Then I got an offer to fly in on a friend's small plane on the Saturday of the Man Burn and just hang out for the weekend, maybe 48 hours on the playa tops; my friend had a spare ticket to sell me. Oh, this makes me sad.

Maybe it's too late, maybe you'll take this the wrong way, maybe you have other reasons to be responsible, but I could help some. I have money that I have no current responsible use for.

I think it may be too late since I let the ticket go (though he may not have found a replacement yet). I'm tempted, but ... I'd feel really uncomfortable about that. I don't know. I'm torn. Argh.

Sorry to put you in a weird situation. Not sure if I can say anything that would make it less uncomfortable, except that, um, well the offer stands, it would make me happy to help you, and I don't actually expect anything.

Mostly I think money sucks. I appreciate that I have it, but I don't want to worry about it.
