Just got handed two tickets to the L.A. Philharmonic tonight at 8 PM, i.e., 2.5 hours from now. Called friend #1 of 3 in L.A., can't go. Called the other two, left vm. Apparently going to have a Highbrow Cultural Experience BY MYSELF.

This will be a slightly different tenor from last week's Friday night.
