I'm feeling totally ripped off.

Last year, DC got the Snow of the Century. We were in East Lansing.

This year, East Lansing is getting the SNOW OF THE FOREVER--to the point where MSU closed in anticipation of the storm. We're in DC and it's 38 degrees today, expected high of 54. We're getting a dull and dreary drizzle.

It's snowing again. It was a cold walk to coffee this morning. But if it's going to be freezing outside my preference for precipitation is definitely the white fluffy stuff and not the tiny pellets of ice. And absolutely not a cold, driving rain ( Read more... )

In an effort to make sure that Drew knows he hasn't been replaced by the baby, we've been scheduling some adventures for him to have. Yesterday I picked him up from school early and we went over to the Hill at Frandor for some sledding.

It's a winter wonderland out there right now. We got some snow yesterday, it continued through the night, and it's still snowing out there. It's beautiful, and my floor to ceiling windows in my office are making it difficult to concentrate. Seems like Old Man Winter wasn't ready to give up on MI yet this year.
