First things first, let's talk about dinner.

For Christmas, Claire wanted a new slow cooker. The Crock Pot that I brought to our lovely family was quite old, kindof small, and not really that great. We made about two different meals in it ever, and we only used it about once or twice a year. So, I got a fancy new Hamilton Beach one that does a lot more fun things. And we got a bunch of cookbooks with different recipies. And we've used it. And we love it.

Tonight was super easy. BBQ Pork Tenderloin. It cooked all day, filling the house with unbelievably delicious smells. And then when we ate dinner the waiting was allllllll worth it. Here are the pictures:

Umm...yeah, those were all the pictures I took before I started eating. We put it on rolls and had mashed potatoes (a mix of regular and sweet potato) and a nice riesling. It was fantastic.

I don't know which book this came from...something like "The Busy Mom's Slow Cooker Book of Recipies" or something like that. We halved the meat, but left everything else the same. In the future we'll make the full two pounds of meat, because the leftovers will be fantastic.

2 lbs pork tenderloin
Garlic powder
18 ounces bbq sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion

Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray. Put in the meat. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Cover with bbq sauce. Cook for 5 hours (or until a meat thermometer reads done). Remove. Shred. Put on rolls. Eat.
