No sleep. No coffee.

Wow. The last couple of nights have been interesting. After falling into a nice pattern of sleeping "all night," Drew has regressed back to waking up multiple times when he and we should be sleeping. Last night I was up with him to change a diaper around 2:00-something, and then I sat with him from 4:00-ish until around 5:30am, when I finally put him back into his crib and he immediately woke up again. Not good times. But then he was ridiculously cute this morning, coo-ing, laughing, and talking up a storm.

It's a big weekend, too. Drew's getting baptized on Sunday. My Dad flies in tonight (Mom's been here all week), and Vinny and Judith arrive late night tonight, as well. The house is going to be chaotic. There's a rehearsal on Saturday mid-morning, and then Sunday morning at the 10:00am Mass is the big event. A bunch of Claire's extended family are going to come so it'll be fun to see them. And a few of our friends from here in MI will be there, too.

But there's a lot to do to get the house ready for everybody, and I'm already feeling a little punchy, what with all of the sleep that I've gotten in the past two nights. Claire has a terrible cold, too, that probably wouldn't be that big of a deal if she could take anything for it. (Most decongestants have a negative effect on milk supply...)

And, as if on cue, the weather here has taken a turn for the cold and miserable. It would be one thing if it just snowed, but we have to deal with a "wintry mix" of rain, sleet, and snow. Excellent!
