Confession: I absolutely love Brian Williams. He's the only reason that I watch NBC Nightly News. If I had my way, he would anchor any news cast that I watched ever. This confession, or lack thereof, brings me to the reason for this post. I would like to cast my perfect news team.
My flagship anchor would be Brian Williams. That man is fabulous in all the right ways and he would have to wear striped ties and be wonderful.
My weatherman would be, without a doubt, the guy from my local affiliate. Homeboy is gorgeous and he used to be a model. He's so adorable and has a turtle and gets so excited about the weather that I can't help but love him.
Last, but certainly not least, I would like to see Chuck Todd and Lester Holt as the roving newsmen on my GQMF newscast. Lester is like the Shaft of NBC and Chuck has a seriously sassy mustache. Anytime that I can get those two together to report on a story is a good day for me.
If I ran a network, I think that these four dudes could be like the Backstreet Boys of journalism.
