Well well. A real post that isn't a quiz or a survey! Can you even handle it. Probably not.
Lately I've been really busy because of High Holidays (Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur) and midterms. Very stressed out. I think the ones that I had this week, Honors World Politics and History, turned out pretty well. We'll see I guess.
Today was very sweet. I woke up early (10:45 on a weekend is early for me, ok? Actually it's pretty early for a weekday too...) and went to lunch w/ Amy, Bryce, Kerri, NICK CAMPBELL!(AKA cutest kid ever), Jess Dailey, and last but certainly not least, Poodle. We had a good old time catching up. Poodle apparently has a stalker at college (welcome to the club, Poodle!) and in unrelated news she may transfer to Pitt b/c we all know that small liberal arts colleges in the middle of nowhere are lame. Everyone get the memo on that?....I guess not.
After lunch I decided that since Sam and Bryce went to the game I should take advantage of the nice weather and go to Urban Outfitters, where I bought 3 of probably the most awesome dresses ever for $25. That is, all together it was $25. At Urban Outfitters. Which is an inconceievable feat that proves my shopping prowess without a doubt.
So I came back from that and it was time to meet my parents for dinner at Lulu's. Sam and I walked over there and had a nice family dinner, and I got my parents some free coffee from Starbucks, and then we parted ways. I deposited some birthday money in the bank and then came back here to write this post for you fine people. B/c I'm tired of looking at those quiz results everytime I go to my journal and I bet you are too.
Tonight I'm going to a party at my friend Matt Wein's house on Atwood. It's a bookswapping party that is also a promotional thing for a magazine of some sort. Hopefully I will obtain more information on it, but the way it looks like things will go, I probably won't remember them. Anyway, Sam and Zoe, Dave, maybe Maleka, maybe Laura, maybe Sarah Horowitz and maybe Bryce are coming to that so it should be cool.
I have Heartbreak Hotel stuck in my head. Maybe MJ will clear it out of there...
