Saw-Whet Owls

there was a cute article in the times union about a kid who saw a saw whet owl in altamont and thought it was just a big pinecone. they are apparently really small and can fit in the palm of your hand.
i couldn't find a link to the article on the times union website. (online editions of print newspapers SUCK!)
