I still love the
seafood I must say, and I do have the occasional chicken or turkey dish from time to time, but I have been skipping the red meat/pork/other game since 1997 - and I must agree with other peeps’ entries about feeling better on many levels and reduced cravings for sugar, junk food, salt, etc.
Meat-free is definitely the healthier way to go (not to mention healthier for the aminals!), and there is much creative non-meat yummyness out there awaiting discovery. Drinking lots of
yummy natural juices and of course
water - and skipping the milk and caffeinated sodas - also helps keep me (and my taste buds) feeling spiffy.
In a related aside, I love
edamame.
