It was an absolutely great Fourth. I'd have to say it was one of the best I've had in a long long time. Bart Came over this morning and we headed west and got on the parkway making a run north toward the final destination Tweetsie. We made a couple stops on the parkway and took some pictures and just enjoyed being in a world of no cell phones and deadlines and projects to worry about. We made it to Tweetsie after stopping for cookout supplies and went in and rode with Tim aroudn the mountain. Tiff and Melissa and some of Melissa's family came after 5 so we sat and talked to Dj's mom for a while since we hadn't realy talked since Rail Days at Spencer. I went around the park with everybody while Bart stayed and talked to DJ's mom some more. It was great getting to spend some more time with Tiff and Ivy since they have become such a big part of life lately it seems. We left the park about 8 and went to the parking lot to cook out and get ready for the fireworks. The fireworks were absolutely wonderful and I couldn't have had any better people to spend the 4th with for sure. When it was time to leave tonight Ivy was in her car seat and ready to go and she started crying when we didn't get in the car to go with them. It just makes me that much more ready to spend some more time with them. Tomorrow its back to the real world, but I can just keep telling myself that there's only a few more days and I get another weekend. As for tonight I guess the 4th is coming to a good close and I have some great memories in my head.
