Yes I'm still alive.....
It's been a while since I wrote anything in here, and I was thinking about that today, so I decided to change that. It's been a busy couple weeks for sure. I've been working 60+ hours and taking up the slack while people are going here there and everywhere. I've even worked a couple weekends lately which is strange, so I've come to the conclusion that I am definately not working this weekend unless hell freezes over and I'm absolutely needed. It's supposed to be a wonderful weekend and I'm going to take full advantage somehow. I don't know what I'm gonna do but I'm gonna do it and be on my own terms.
So yeah anyway today was kind of interesting. I had to go in to the office extra early this morning because we had a staff meeting at 7. I had some stuff to take care of before the meeting so I went in at like 630. After a boring presentation written by corperate lawyers I managed to get out, so I left the conference room as fast as possible only to find out that I had several other things to do around the office. Before the whole ordeal is over I have Taylor following me to the job to help me today, which basically means there is the same ammount of work for us both to do, just a lot more talking to be done. Luckily it was a slow morning due to the hoe being broken off and on all day, so we sat around and talked with the grading crew for a while, and then the reigonal safety director came by for a little visit.
It was nice to have some company on the site today, but we ended up staying late because of it. Then I had to take care of some stuff at the office when I got back. So needless to say I got home later than I planned. Only a few more days till Friday!
