Summary: Wayne asked Cristiano to marry him. Will he say yes? What will happen to their life?

“Am I hearing the wrong thing?”
Cristiano repeats, “Sir, I’m sorry. I can’t take it anymore. I want out.”
“So… you have accepted the offer from Real?” Alex asked with a hope that he says no.
“No, Boss.” Alex is relieved. “I… actually want to take a long break from football.”
“I can understand that.” Alex nods as he understands the life he’s going through now. British media is tough and nasty. They are not forgiving and cannot accept the fact. Actually, Wayne’s life is much worse because he’s a British after all.
Why gay cannot be accepted in football? Why?
This is a question with no answer to it.
“Your wish is granted. But… you are still Red Devil. I’m giving you a long break.”
“Re.. really?” The other man asked surprisingly. This man is not that tough after all, he thoughts.
“When you feel fine, come back immediately.”
“Th.. thank you Boss.” The Portuguese shook hand with him and then hugged him.
“I maybe an old and a strict Boss, but I am very objective. I judge based on performance and character, not their personal life.”

There was training after Cristiano left the stadium. The manager told the lads that the Portuguese winger will be taking a long break. Wayne was there. Everyone looked at him, but he showed no emotion.
