"That's a sexy accordion" says some guy to me
today was a good day! i havent had one in a while, so it put a smile on my face, even though nothing big happened just met one of the guys ive been wanting to meet since i came to ucla. makes the other guy ive been crushin on last quarter a faint memory. i think only ann and sheryl know about this guy (the guy that always says hi to me, remember?) WELL it was him! i had an art event to work tonight and he was there! with an accordion on that he borrowed from his friend. well i was by myself at the table and he came to me and we just had a short brief convo, where he introduced himself, which will just put smiles on my face from days on end. and he remembered me!even though i acted like a TOTAL LOSER! he must think im some lame, boring person. but he was such a sweet, nice guy! and knowing my luck i'll never see him again...i mean that was the first time ive seen him since i worked the design/media arts lectures my first year. BUT he's in the DMA major so i just might take classes to see him...lame i know...but its a fun subject so who knows.
but besides that i love working the art gallery events because the most random people come up to you and just talk to you. this one guy (who was also cute) came up to the table and was like "so is this P-Y-O-D?" and im like "what?" and he goes "pour your own drink" lol. i dont know we just had some laughs about that. he came back later and told me a trick of the trade to pouring drinks in which i looked like a loser..but it was a funny experience. And since im stuck behind the table all night once the crowd cleared out towards the end of the night i left my post and stood by the door to watch this band play that they hired, they were pretty good (harmonies wise) and another guy who saw me through out the night said "hey your free!" and hugged me. HAHA that was so random. but yeah fun times!
oh goodness have some of you seen the mtv shows this week? ann i know you have! but damn ashlee simpson...she has got to be the most annoying, fake bitch in the world! she has the nerve to say that "i worked hard to get where i am today" BITCH you got where you are because of your sister and NEWSFLASH your voice sounds like SHIT! i dont care if you have acid reflux or not stop trying to act like your some punk-rock princess! fact of the matter is she's a bad singer with a whack-ass boyfriend, who cant even make her own decisions about what her next single is gonna be!
and ann i did see my sweet sixteen! damn she was monstrous dude! she literally was O-A! 200 grand for a party?!? flying to paris for a dress?!? crying because she didnt get her fuckin range rover on her bday and being a bitch to her parents?!? she is spoiled to the MAX! my roommates and i were like is this shit for real? and if i were to pull that santa barbara incident with my parents my mom would be like you can stay there cause you dont live here anymore! and THATS A FACT! but damn those polo guys from loyola....life is just too unfair sometimes!
oh well enough about that...this past saturday i went to the carrick acoustic show at the knitting factory. had some setbacks that forced me to arrive late but i eventually got there. it was a pretty good show (well any show with carrick is a good show) he played some push kings songs, EBE songs (esp. "Always" which is like my fav. song from that e.p.) and did covers with taylor and ned from rooney, mikey from EBE and the vacation. i took a few photos so if anyone wants to take a gander here they are...Carrick Acoustic
and i just found out that EBE is featured in the new Ellegirl (along with alex greenwald and his 18 yr old gf)! damn theyre starting to get BIG!!!! but who was O-G? LOL.
