(no subject)
today was kinda stressful.
first i took my italian quiz in which i KNOW i did horrible. its hard cause she like reads a passage in italian and we have to answer questions on it. so im trying to translate in my head but when i translate one sentence i miss the next! and she only reads it twice! so yeah i bombed.....
and then for my french writing class....omg my friends and i in that class are like shitting bricks. when we went to section we were discussing our next paper which is due next fri. and seriously the WHOLE section was like confused on the prompt. my friends, vienna and deanna, and i were like trying to figure out all section what the hell we were doing and we still don't have an answer. which sucks cause we have to come up with four pages and our T.A. is like hardcore about making sure that our ideas are "precise and clear." she is so discouraging i swear. i went to eat at this pizza place called d'amore's in westwood with vienna after section and we were like damn, we dont know what the hell she expects of us! i mean our T.A., amy, made a big point about having topic sentences and transitional sentences and we thought we did that but it still wasnt precise! i got like a A-/B+ on that paper. which i guess wasnt so bad, but i thought i did better.
then while we were eating we just beefing about that class and how there is no need for us to meet three times a week for an hour. i mean she starts off every class summarizing what we did in the previous lecture! and she encourages class participation, but the comments that these people make sometimes are just plain irrelevant! especially this one girl who thinks she knows everything...gosh she's so annoying! im just like please shut up! she got called out by her own T.A. not too long ago. i thought that was pretty amusing...gosh im mean...
but i like that class...not only because of ummmm..yeah but i met some cool people. this other girl that i met, that i sit next to in class everytime, her name is kim, i just read that she almost made it to the us olympics for swimming! i was like damn....hahaha.
