An announcement!
Ladies and gentlemen, I have officially become an Equity Membership Candidate. For those of you who are theatrically-challenged, that's a good thing, and while's it's not a huge huge deal, it makes me very happy because it marks the beginning of my professional career as an actor. I was cast in Children of Eden, a show I once proposed to direct at the Point (and was turned down, blah blah too young blah blah politicscakes) as Abel/Ham/the snake (if they do the original double casting, which I assume they will) at Theatre 3, one of the bigger and older theatres in Dallas. It's not a huge role, but it's not ensemble either and I have a couple of solos and a death scene. Anyway, the point is I'm a professional actor now. And that makes me very very happy.
