Everything happened at the same time, I’ll try to be organized…
1) Pokémon tournament
It was pretty awesome! We both lost during our first match but I don’t regret trying. It was fun to meet other fans and see everybody get excited about strategies and technical details. There was not so much to do beside the tournament itself, though; only demonstrations of Wii Pokémon games and card games.
My team, I was reviewing strengths and weaknesses during the train travel. I could only used four of them, so I went with Ampharos, Typhlosion, Lugia and Empoleon during the battle. I lost to some impressively enhanced Kyogre and Raikou...
Then on the bus to the convention center, we found other players! There was this kid with a collector DS *slighty sighs with envy* I saw many collector items during the day.

The place was very cool.
We came in just in time for the semi-finals of the junior category. I’m very happy that a girl won first place! She was the only one I saw that day using a Breloom, and she used it very smartly. The guy against her made mistakes during the final… Anyway it was very exciting to watch.

What’s my favourite Johto starter, I wonder…
Finale of the senior category. People from other countries had come to try their luck, and a Spanish guy made it to the finale (that’s why the screen is in Spanish). The other one was French, and he won!
If I had to sum up the day: too much Kyogre, and wayyyy too much Palkia. I don't think it's very fun if everybody ends up using the same Pokémon...
Everybody was so tensed for the finale :D But seriously, where were girls? :(

2) More Pokémon
darkdaisukefr is made of awesome ♥ and he knew I had been disappointed to get Arceus instead of Lugia for pre-ordering SoulSilver, and he remembered when he saw the figures for sale :) It was an adorable gift ♥
My otaku shelf! Now I kind of want to find a fic in which Bridget is a Pokémon trainer… I’m sure it could work, somehow.
Old pic that was in my camera for a while, just to show that I’m 5 years old at heart (Buttsex is all wagging! It looks like he’s going to grab you!) My Ho-oh is called “Subtext”. I swear I’m only doing this with legendaries.
Also also! The second volume of the HGSS guide book finally arrived! It was postponed twice, I was in despair :( It’s also twice as thick as the first volume, ahah what. But now I’m just more eager than ever to complete the pokédex!
3) Hanna is not a Boy’s Name
Because I said to adela_nightmoon that I would scan my signings as soon as I would receive the books!

The books are so pretty. I’ve already bought copies of webcomics before and these have the best qualities I’ve seen. I’m very happy :3
4) FMA ended, which makes me feel kinda empty. I don’t know if another manga will have such a great impact on my life in the future…
I already commented here and there on other LJs about what I liked/disliked in this ending, so I don't feel like doing it here again. But feel free to discuss with me about it :)
