Don't listen to me, I'm grumpy
Over there at fandomsecrets, it was me who made this secret, a while ago ago. I meant every word, and I still do today (actually I’m more than a little mad at me for being so reasonable sometimes, and not having jumped on the sales at Steam when the whole series was for $5 >_<).
In the comments of the secret, someone linked a Let’s Play of the game on YouTube, that I’ve finally finished to watch. I actually love this game! I particularly love that all the characters you meet are batshit insane. And I love, love, love the way the infection manifests in Black Plague (I have a thing for craziness, split personalities, and alien stuff in your head controlling minds or bodies…just see my fondness for Animorphs, Parasyte, etc). And the ending was deliciously wacky.
I want to play it so bad.
So what does it have to do with the secret? I still think that Phillip’s design, as well as his ironical, somewhat detached comments through the game, remind me of Kenny. I’ve been thinking about it, and now I’m craving for crossovers or AUs where the immortality of Kenny would be exploited to create an horror/survival story. Of course, South Park fandom being what it is, finding such thing is unthinkable; I just found some war AUs, but pseudo-real war interests me wayyyy less than survival/horror, and they don’t use Kenny's ability anyway. Very few fics does it correctly (or rather, as I wish it would be) in the whole fandom.
To sum up: I want to find, or more probably write myself, a fic that would put Kenny and his friends in an horror/survival setting (Penumbra setting would rule, and would make it the first Penumbra fic to reach the internet), and by doing so would naturally put him in a main role… because let’s face it, it would be damn convenient to have a Kenny in such situations. My head is full of ideas but the words refuse to follow! Damn my inability to write anything!
