Not Dead!

Finally broke down and bought a new computer - it's all touchy, feely, sexy as Eddie Izzard says. Don't know how much I'll be around - if anything work is getting more and more busy.

However the muses are demanding they be exorcized.

Thank the gods for a week off. The idiocy will now continue at it's regularly scheduled times.

Creation. I bought this one sight unseen and having only read the back of the case and was amazed to be pleasantly surprised. Young Victoria. A nice, fluffy period piece that was very room-with-a-view-with-a-staircase-and-a-pond (to quote Eddie Izzard). Great for a rainy afternoon; I appreciated the simple plot that didn't require a lot of thinking. Alice in Wonderland: Forget what you knew about the Disney cartoon. This is Alice as a teenager. She goes back to Underland (as it's really called) and has to prove to everyone, including herself, that she's the Alice by slaying the Jabberwocky.
