...If anyone hasn't heard it yet, er. I'm really not Captain Basch. I got Confused pretty badly, apparently... I've never been very good with Arcane Magicks anyway. Won't happen again. ;;;;;;;;Well, I think I have it under control now. Penelo, er...thanks. For looking after me I mean ( Read more... )

The seafarer, Jack Sparrow I believe is the one responsible for such ignorance.

On the matter of Basch, this Sparrow man makes Basch seem clean and smelling of fresh lilies.

Huh. I mean, I can't blame someone for not knowing since Ivalice seems to be the only world with them, but to keep denying it is a level of stupidity that even I'm above pretty silly.

.......................Seriously?

Yeah! It's not that uncommon in Ivalice though, a lot of them can be bought in shops and stuff.

Pirates are a dead breed in my world. The only 'pirates' to speak of are on the Internet, but I assume you've never heard of that.

Um...no. ;;; That's pretty sad though - that they're all dead I mean.

They didn't exactly do a lot of good in the world.

Rape and stealing are generally looked down upon by society.

The pirates from your world seem sort of extreme.

Perhaps Captain Sparrow's ego will not accept the prospect of competition in the piracy stakes. For a sea pirate, he is most unlike any we encountered in Balfonheim Port. He has a head of hair, for one.

Because of his ego, huh? ...Sounds like someone I know. But hey, you're right! It's pretty funny - I'd never really thought about sea pirates until we saw them.

Already, I get the impression of a 'rivalry' brewing. That is understandable, given our homeland's lack of ocean. If you had thought about them, might you have considered the seas, as opposed to the skies?

You too, huh? Well, at least we can all prepare ourselves for it!

Probably not...the sky's got more freedom. Besides, I can't swim.

Ohhh, you are a pirate? Flying the skies and pillaging towns?

...Well not so much with the pillaging. But yeah.
